Trevor Hehn

Attorney

Trevor advises small to medium sized businesses in defense, space, space nuclear, advanced nuclear, space tourism, AI, and other emerging technologies on U.S. and international law. In addition to his work representing space companies, Trevor advocates for space policy matters and engages space stakeholders on Capitol Hill, at the Pentagon, across the U.S. and in Europe.

Trevor is a sought-after expert for space nuclear and space sustainability.  He presented on space sustainability internationally at the III Seminar on International Space Law in Context in Leicester, England. The United Nations (U.N.) invited Trevor to participate in person at its annual, invite-only, space law and policy conference held at the headquarters of the U.N. Office of Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, Austria in 2025.  In June, 2026, Trevor was again invited to participate on the global stage at the Joint Workshop of the STSC Working Group on the Use of NPS In Outer Space and the IAEA: Future of Nuclear Power Source Applications in Outer Space, a workshop jointly held by COPUOS and IAEA.

Prior to starting in the space industry, Trevor served 16 years in the U.S. Army, including in combat in Iraq, a tour with the Infantry in sub-Saharan Africa, and finally as an attorney in the JAG Corps. Trevor applies that deep operational and in-house experience to his current practice, helping companies craft business strategies to successfully navigate the legal complexities of highly regulated industries.

In his free time, Trevor hikes, travels, and explores the great outdoors with his five kids.

Admitted to practice law in Maine.
